Pennies must be 1982 or before to be able to enamel due to 95% copper/5% zinc Anything after will melt.
These have been counter enameled (backside) then sprinkled with colored powdered glass, torch fired, sanded, then hand painted with white for daisy look. Torch fired again.
Hung from nickel and lead free ear wire.
